# About DxChain V3

DxChain V3 is an upgraded version of DxChain 2.0, compatible with EVM and other smart contract platform architectures, optimizes the DPoS architecture, adds a new system contract layer, striving to create a development platform that supports smart contracts. 

On top of the continuous development of the DxChain ecosystem, DxChain V3 supports cross-chain bridge technology, which is convenient for users to transfer assets between different chains.
